My Story
Maria joined TrebleMakers as a pianist with 5 years of teaching experience, passionate about teaching children both technical aspects of the piano and fostering a general understanding of music.
Born in Zurich, Switzerland, she moved to Sydney to complete a Bachelors of Music and Advanced Studies (Performance) majoring in piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Through her experiences as a performer winning multiple international piano competitions at a young age, Maria now enjoys sharing her knowledge tutoring primary and secondary students.
Since moving to Sydney she has tutored children of all ages and is known for being practical and open-minded. We are excited to have her share her experience and passion for music education with our students. Maria speaks fluent English, Russian, Spanish, German and French.
